        The Laser Technician will be responsible for:

        • Operating, troubleshooting, and servicing all laser cutting equipment, to manufacture parts for Xtreme Manufacturing & Snorkel.
        • Effectively manage the laser cutting process and activities, that produce prefabrication parts.
        • Ensures the accuracy of raw material inventories.
        • Maintains quality level requirements.
        • Meets and/or exceeds the production plan supplied by the Henderson facility forecast.

        Job Duties & Responsibilities

        Equipment Operations

        • Operates multiple quantities and types of laser machine to manufacture parts.
        • Ensures the “On-Time” completion of scheduled work and projects.
        • Maintains the consumables inventories for all laser machines.
        • Reviews Manufacturing Orders (MOs) for work instructions, operation assignments, and specifications.
        • Competently sets up, operates, and maintains all CNC laser cutting equipment to produce parts using setup instructions, shop traveler packages and prints.
        • Enters machine settings for laser cutting operations ensuring that correct lens, nozzles, assist gases and laser heads are in place.
        • Uses inspections to ensure the proper setup and alignment of lasers and performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
        • Loads laser programs on the computer and modifies them as needed.
        • Optimizes equipment performance and part yield.
        • Efficiently operates multiple CNC laser cutting machines simultaneously as required.

        Material Management

        Maintenance Management

        • Chart machine performance and administers routine maintenance.

        • Monitor machine operations and performance, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

      • Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking Paint Prep & Sanders to join our team!

        SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

        The Paint Prep & Sander is responsible for preparing heavy equipment for painting by using D.A. sanders, sand blasters and scrapers to remove ole paint and decals. This will include masking/taping off electrical wires, hydraulic lines and non-painted components. The Paint Prep & Sander will also assist Painters with various tasks.

        ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

        • Remove decals and adhesive with scraper and solvent before the sanding process.
        • Remove grease, dirt, paint or rust from equipment surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, washing tanks or sand blasters.
        • Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare equipment for painting.
        • Taping/masking preparation.
        • Set up working area.
        • Able to operate heavy equipment, moving it to access areas to be painted.
        • Bleed out air compressor to assure there is no moisture and let compressor continue to run to build up air (to avoid water damage on the air tools).
        • Lubricate all air tools.
        • Clean equipment and work areas.
        • Collect all tools and place them back in the proper toolboxes.
        • Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
        • Must wear proper PPE (fresh air respirator, painting overalls, etc.).

    • Quality Technician I
      • Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking candidates for our Quality Technician I position.

        Summary:

        Aids in the quality control program to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. Supports Lean Manufacturing implementation through proper tooling, methods, procedures and training. Prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.

        The primary focus of this position is to work closely with our production team to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet manufacturing specifications. The Quality Technician will provide support to the organization relative to improvement of quality as well as providing quality interface, expertise and support to the production team, in providing assurance that our products meet engineering requirements.

        The candidate shall be highly motivated and an effective team player with strong communication and influential skills.

        Primary Responsibilities:

        • Performs quality control inspection on the production floor to ensure they are following the process and procedures.
        • Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
        • Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
        • Familiar with ISO standards concepts, practices, and procedures.
        • Review and approval of compliance documentation First Article Reports and required inspection documents.
        • Support the execution of zero defect plans, On-time delivery, and Quality reduction initiatives to our customers.
        • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be added of assigned by management.

        Basic Qualifications:

        • Two (2) years related experience with a minimum of 1 year in the quality manufacturing area.
        • Fully able to read Blue Print, weld symbols and other call outs.
        • An understanding in Corrective Action Reporting (CAR), Non-conforming Material Reporting (NCMR) methodology. Root Cause Analysis is a plus.
        • Must be goal oriented and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the goals.
        • Understanding principles of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Gauge R&R and SPC.
        • Experience in First Article Inspection Reporting.
        • Auditing experience.
        • Must have the ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

        Preferred Qualifications:

        • Manufacturing Quality Training and certifications.
        • ISO9000 formal auditing experience.
        • Process and procedure development experience.

        Education:

        • High School Diploma, with some college a plus.

        Language Skills:

        • Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to respond to production floor inquiries.
        • Ability to effectively present information to employees, customers and management.

        Reasoning Ability:

        Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

        • Direct and coordinate promotion and sale of Snorkel and Xtreme products/services including the development of new markets, increase share of existing market, and obtain competitive position in the aerial work platform and forklift industry.
        • Analyze sales statistics, demographics, and other sales related data and formulate a sales plan to assist in promoting sales to end users, distributors, and dealers to achieve sales goals.
        • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to achieve personal sales goals and goals of company.
        • Manage your time and territory to optimize sales efforts and efficiencies.
        • Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some overtime as needed, 80% travel.

        Other Sales Related Tasks:

        • Assist dealer and/or distributor salesmen on retail sales calls.
        • Make unassisted sales calls including cold calls, sales calls on existing customers, and sales calls on potential customers.
        • Interface between customer and Snorkel/Xtreme on service problems, engineering, parts and sales in promoting and improving relationships with dealers & end users.
        • Represent Snorkel and Xtreme at trade shows and trade association meetings to promote our brands.
        • Assist other departments and Ahern family companies as needed.
        • Perform additional sales related tasks as outlined by VP of Sales.
        • Other duties as assigned by Management.

        Training Duties:

        • Provide product knowledge and training to customers, end users, and /or dealer sales representatives.
        • Conduct, schedule, and facilitate Xtreme and Snorkel sales training schools.
        • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate Snorkel and Xtreme factory tours with clients.
        • Conduct equipment demonstrations while on sales calls with customers and potential buyers.
        • Other duties as assigned by Management.
