        The Laser Technician will be responsible for:

        • Operating, troubleshooting, and servicing all laser cutting equipment, to manufacture parts for Xtreme Manufacturing & Snorkel.
        • Effectively manage the laser cutting process and activities, that produce prefabrication parts.
        • Ensures the accuracy of raw material inventories.
        • Maintains quality level requirements.
        • Meets and/or exceeds the production plan supplied by the Henderson facility forecast.

        Job Duties & Responsibilities

        Equipment Operations

        • Operates multiple quantities and types of laser machine to manufacture parts.
        • Ensures the “On-Time” completion of scheduled work and projects.
        • Maintains the consumables inventories for all laser machines.
        • Reviews Manufacturing Orders (MOs) for work instructions, operation assignments, and specifications.
        • Competently sets up, operates, and maintains all CNC laser cutting equipment to produce parts using setup instructions, shop traveler packages and prints.
        • Enters machine settings for laser cutting operations ensuring that correct lens, nozzles, assist gases and laser heads are in place.
        • Uses inspections to ensure the proper setup and alignment of lasers and performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
        • Loads laser programs on the computer and modifies them as needed.
        • Optimizes equipment performance and part yield.
        • Efficiently operates multiple CNC laser cutting machines simultaneously as required.
        • Produces the required quantity of parts within established cycle times, specifications, and tolerances.
        • Competently charts and records machine performance, and OEE metrics.
        • Observes levels of assist gases and change tanks as required.
        • Unloads parts following the cutting cycle.
        • Proficiently utilizes hand tools, and abrasives to deburr parts and place parts on skid.

        Material Management

        • Effectively supports raw material inventory management.
        • Prepares raw materials to ensure efficient, high-quality laser cutting.
        • Safely and efficiently loads and unloads raw materials by safely operating material handling equipment, cranes and rigging.
        • Manage weekly material selection and automated material loading equipment.
        • Prepare materials (descale and oxidation removal) prior to placement in the automated material loading equipment.
        • Cycle counts and record remnant material inventory.
        • Utilize the approved inventory management organization standards to maintain the raw material inventory.

        Quality Management

        • Understand and fully execute all quality documentation requirements and processes.
        • Perform all QA and QC measuring and documenting tasks for all laser cut parts.

        Maintenance Management

        The Paint Prep & Sander is responsible for preparing heavy equipment for painting by using D.A. sanders, sand blasters and scrapers to remove ole paint and decals. This will include masking/taping off electrical wires, hydraulic lines and non-painted components. The Paint Prep & Sander will also assist Painters with various tasks.

        ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

        • Remove decals and adhesive with scraper and solvent before the sanding process.

        We are looking for a Regional Sales Representative in the Southern Mountain Region (Colorado/Utah/Arizona/New Mexico) to promote, sell, and distribute Snorkel and Xtreme products and services who are prepared to be HANDS-ON. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with a busy and dynamic global sales team across several leading industry brands.

        Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

        • Direct and coordinate promotion and sale of Snorkel and Xtreme products/services including the development of new markets, increase share of existing market, and obtain competitive position in the aerial work platform and forklift industry.
        • Analyze sales statistics, demographics, and other sales related data and formulate a sales plan to assist in promoting sales to end users, distributors, and dealers to achieve sales goals.
        • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to achieve personal sales goals and goals of company.
        • Manage your time and territory to optimize sales efforts and efficiencies.
        • Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some overtime as needed, 80% travel.
        • Other duties as assigned by Management.

        Other Sales Related Tasks:

        • Assist dealer and/or distributor salesmen on retail sales calls.
        • Make unassisted sales calls including cold calls, sales calls on existing customers, and sales calls on potential customers.
        • Interface between customer and Snorkel/Xtreme on service problems, engineering, parts and sales in promoting and improving relationships with dealers & end users.
        • Represent Snorkel and Xtreme at trade shows and trade association meetings to promote our brands.
        • Assist other departments and Ahern family companies as needed.
        • Perform additional sales related tasks as outlined by VP of Business Development.
        • Other duties as assigned by Management.

        Training Duties:

        • Provide product knowledge and training to customers, end users, and /or dealer sales representatives.
        • Conduct, schedule, and facilitate Xtreme and Snorkel sales training schools.
        • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate Snorkel and Xtreme factory tours with clients.
        • Conduct equipment demonstrations while on sales calls with customers and potential buyers.
        • Other duties as assigned by Management.

        Qualifications:

        • Must have at least five (5) years' experience in construction equipment sales.
        • Aerial platform equipment sales experience ideal.
        • Must reside within the sales region (Colorado/Utah/Arizona/New Mexico).
        • Excellent interpersonal and phone skills.
        • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
        • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
        • Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of the organization.
        • Mathematical skills.
        • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
        • Experience with Domo and Point of Rental software ideal.
        • High School Diploma or equivalent.
